When else for meetups but Monday afternoon? I was waiting for partner who was late, so i decided to check out the much raved Makeup Forever HD foundation. I've done my research on it: It is water-based and doesn't work well if your skincare products are oil-based. However, i had to give it a try and as expected, it didn't sit well on my face that was layered with oil-based products.
A Sephora staff introduced me Bare Minerals Matte foundation after asking if i have sensitive skin. She said it is made of natural products so compared to foundations with chemical, it is better for eczema-prone skin like mine.
The coverage is low-medium and the Sephora staff said it is not long-lasting so i will have to use a face primer. I couldn't imagine layering an additional product on my face so i decided to just purchase the Bare Minerals Matte and if it starts melting and needs to be dabbed off (not hanks to Singapore's humidity) i simply touch up.
We'll see if my face breaks out after using this.
Before this, i alternating between Chanel's Vitalumiere Eclat pressed powder and Diorskin Poudre Compacte pressed powder.
Both are good for mattifying oily skin like mine, Dior even more so! Chanel pressed powder photographs much better, more natural compared to Dior. However, they both cause me zit outbreaks so im praying that the new buy dose me good!
