I wouldn't have thought

Last weekend came a last minute outing planned by Shane (who i met through Jack while Minking)! Trevis was the middleman who texted me about the plan - flying from Johore to Tioman at 7-8am.

Being the lazy bum, Trevis suggested we stay the night at Shane's place at Johore so we can wake up to travel from Shane's place to Senai Airport. Well duh, it is relatively closer from Johore than from Singapore.

But guess what? We reached Johore at around 1am - i had work - then unanimously voted for a full body massage! D:  All the working in heels & exercises & accidentally pulling my muscles... Massage was worth my sleep!

Let's start off with Monday morning at Senai airport. Below is Shane & his Johore Flying Club friend, Dawson performing the mandatory checks on the aircraft.

So i was surveying lots of friends on how Tioman was like so i could doll up & camwhore to my heart's content... Turned out i couldn't doll up because i was told to wear light clothing/ as comfortable as possible.

Wow there were huge-ass continental-flying planes!

That's Trevis. He can model, i give it to him.

With Shane while Dawson checks on the plane alone :P

I was co-piloting babeh! I actually took the "steering wheel" correctly known as yoke. It was soooo sensitive as compared to a car's steering wheel! A little movement made me nauseous as hell already, otherwise i would've liked to experienced G force for bit :(

Backseats seemingly like a private jet's interior from this angle.

The microphone had to be really close to our mouths to work! And the headset is our clearest form of communication with one another. We could even hear the pilot communicating to the person at the air control tower. Gosh i'm so bad with the terms.

Dawson was the pilot & he was the one who took this photo! Meaning the yoke was on hands-free! I was stunned for a while but Dawson said, with the right settings, pilots can actually take their hands off! Unlike commercial airplanes which has to be turned on auto-pilot mode. Too cool!

We were about to land at Tioman island! I was extremely nauseous by then :/ Shane said the higher, the more stable the aircraft.

At this point, i was gagging. But thanks Shane for taking this shot. I was so busy looking at the barf bag i missed the landing.

Stopped by at Tioman just for breakfast & a little stroll. Everything was cheap cheap cheap!!!

Shane piloted on the way back. The sky was filled with clouds by early afternoon & i was warned that the ride was going to be tremulous. Y'all think clouds are fluffy & pretty, massive floating cotton candy - you're right - but they're evil! Clouds are the things that made flights bumpy! So there, not pretty anymore!

An extremely sick me prayed & meditated the entire flight back & kudos to control, I did not puke!

We have landed back at Senai Airport by then, & the dudes wanted to visit the aircraft technician. Dawson got a Bacardi bianco for Mr Technician :) While the dudes were chatting up, we camwhored with acrobatic planes!

You will never one to be a passenger in an acrobatic plane. From the kinds of sick manoeuvres this plane can perform, i can vouch that no one will will be able to sit through the entire flight without puking their innards out.

Remember "Catch Me if You Can"? Yea, it's possible to enter/ exit a plane from the wheels! :D

Shane is obsessed with Korean food so for lunch, we went to some Korean restaurant at Senai. What a spread!

Unagi is my favourite. Eh, those with thin skin actually.

Monday was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a very privileged me! I'm so thankful to Shane to have asked me along :')
1 of coolest things i've done - checked!
