So my relationship with my brother hasn't been the best for a few years, but now it's the best I could ever wish for. I think the greatest thing my relationship with Hadi brought me was the closeness of my family.
It's a no-brainer how much i have changed throughout the relationship - under his rule - however much i try to keep it under wraps. Yes, i was definitely tamer, much to my mum's gladness i suspect. But in the bigger picture, i suppose everyone could sense an air of suppression. Hence i would like to dedicate this first post of people who stood by me despite during my tough times (even though my ex disliked you guys for no sound reason), to my brother.
Thank you for your constant nagging. Although i have never lost sight of who I am or got lost in his mindfucking, your reminders served as an island in the storm, my safe house.
